Natash grew up in Gatineau Québec where she began playing rugby in grade nine as she was inspired by her brother who also played Rugby. She began to also play for her local club, Les Gladiateurs. She attended the University of Ottawa where she became captain of the GeeGees women's rugby team. She also played provincially with Rugby Québec before joining Canada's centralization program. Natasha is a Canadian rugby union player. She won a gold medal at the 2015 Pan American Games as a member of the Canadian women's rugby sevens team. In 2016, Watcham-Roy was named to Canada's first ever women's rugby sevens Olympic team. In August 2018, Natasha announced her retirement from the sport. We wish her all the very best in her future endeavours.
Elena Pinkerton has been a member of the Gladiateurs for several seasons. She has been playing for the Provincial Québec girls rugby team for the past several years as well. Congratulations Elena for another well-earned opportunity to represent our province and club. We are excited for the opportunities that lie ahead for you as well as the skills and knowledge you will bring back to the team! Elena's speed and ball handling skills make her a very elusive and skilled player.
